Having served the blind and shutter industry well for decades using conventional sales channels Hopkins felt there was an opportunity to expand the business on-line. Through Beanlogic’s in-house work force and the extensive network of the best freelancers, we designed their new website, developed sophisticated e-commerce software and a back office synchronisation system.
Hopkins’ customers are now able to browse the entire product catalogue on-line. With the inclusion of a completely secure on-line shopping basket customers are now also able to buy on-line.
The product catalogue itself is entirely populated by an automated integration with Hopkins’ product database in their Sage accounting package. This even includes the images of the products, which are automatically uploaded. This means that the administrative overhead of having an on-line shop is kept to a minimum.
